Overeaten?

Overeaten and feeling bloated? fat and uncomfortable?  The New Year will soon be here and you are going to make your New Year Resolutions, being healthy, going on a diet, going to the gym, eating less, eating healthily and cutting down your drinking… Well, that’s not going to really happen, is it? How many years have you said the same thing over and over and ended up with negative results as your willpower diminishes to a point of saying what the hell, I’m going to treat myself and that’s it!
Oh, and how far did you get. Lost a few pounds? Too tired to fit the gym in, working, looking after the kids and life, in general, getting in the way. Do you get a mindset of, I can lose weight later in the year when I’m going on holiday or to a special event.

New Years Resolution.

A new attitude that will work for you such as dieting, will work if you go about it in the right way. Let’s face it, you know exactly the right foods to eat to be healthy and you know the bad foods and the junk foods. You know about fat and sugars as well as taking more water and less alcohol. You know all of this, don’t you?
So why doesn’t your diet, gym or exercise work for you or it may do for a while and then you’re back to your old default settings and doing all those things that you said you wouldn’t? Willpower is a big mistake as it never works for you. Start to use your imagination. To visualise how you want to look and feel and more importantly is always remember the reason why you chose to do this…

 7 Tips and Tricks.

#1 Don’t say you are going on a diet when you’re full.
#2 Don’t use willpower, it never works.
#3 Don’t make a promise to yourself that you know you will not keep.
#4 Remember why you wanted to change your body shape.
#5 Know that you really know what are the right foods to eat.
#6 Don’t overdo anything, always leave yourself wanting more.
#7 Eat what you feel will contribute to your health & wellbeing.

Food and Calories.

Cutting down on calories is fine, but did you know that calorie controlled food from shops can provide you with fewer calories. But there is no way that you can make food have fewer calories. The only way is to eat less. You cannot make a doughnut have fewer calories. If you only want half the calories, then cut the doughnut in half and only eat half.
Fewer calories in shop bought processed food is replaced with what I can only call ‘stuff’ that bulks out the food, and what this is, do we really know. Let’s face it, some of the biggest people I help to lose weight are on diet drinks and they never lose any weight.

180 Degree Turn Around.

Everyone will do a 180-degree turnaround, If you are lazy, then in the New Year you will go to the gym and exercise, if you are fat, you will stop eating, we all do the 180 degrees. This is why we fail to stick to our New Year Resolutions because of the 180-degree complete turnaround.
So What Can You Do? Stop doing the 180 and be much more subtle in your approach to your health and wellbeing. Start to make small adjustments to the way you eat that you hardly notice.
For an example, if you took two sugars in your tea, then the 180 degrees way would be to stop taking sugar and this wouldn’t be very pleasant, and so a better approach is to take one and a half sugars or one and threequarters, just enough that you really don’t notice. You can do this with all foods and of course drinking.
Exercise, going to the gym, using weights that don’t take it out of you, stretch only the amount you feel comfortable with so that you want to do it again the next day. Before you know it a month will have flown by and you will have lost weight, exercising, happier and feeling fitter all because of a subtle approach.

Your Personal Diet.

A diet has to include all aspects of your life and not just food. Your diet needs to be your health, positive thinking, what you listen to, what you watch on TV. mindful of negative thinking, staying calm, contributing to society, how you help others, your bad language, use kind words and thoughts. How you contribute to your own wellbeing and walking in nature. A diet is not just food and drink, it is your way of life. The Sliding Scale of Anxiety.

Anxiety affects us all in varying degrees from mild forms to severe attacks and it is relentless as it can come on at any time no matter where you are or what you are doing. This can lead to Panic Attacks and IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome) Most often this can just start on waking up and lying in bed, the feeling of dread can be overwhelming to say the least.

But What Is My Anxiety.

A few things can cause anxiety. but anxiety is and always will be just the symptom and not the cause. Most people deal with the symptom and not the cause and so they never really get better. Start to notice the cause of anxiety.
Anxiety is really no more than you thinking of a future event that you have no idea how it will turn out and this leads your mind to create negative scenarios that only make you feel anxious.
Let’s face it, you can have a panic attack lying in bed, Why? because your mind is overactive with negative imagination and the WRONG information. This all leads to anxiety.

What To Do?

It’s hard to switch off and no one said you should, but rather use the power your fertile imagination gives you to help you get well and recognise that you can start to deal with the cause and not the symptom. It can feel, to begin with, that you start to change because you have been hardwired from birth to think and feel anxious. Most people’s anxiety is 50% of somebody else’s and so in a split second, you can halve your anxiety. Now to get rid of another 25% of your anxiety is too realise that you are the experiencer of the anxiety and NOT the anxiety itself. So now you are down to 25%.
Halve this again to 12.5% by noticing that you are responding in a set way or pattern of behaviour and if you change, this you will reduce the feelings that you once associated with anxiety. It is your choice how you respond with your thinking. You are in control.
Now that you are down to 12.5% – how easy is this to deal with on your own now?

Master Your Thoughts.

Mastering the mind is one of the hardest things you can do, but you can treat it the same way as you would with keeping yourself clean. Do things that help clean your mind and your thoughts, just as you wash, you get dirty again and then you have to bathe again, all your life this happens. Your mind and thoughts are no different. Run a mental antivirus programme in your head by not letting your negative thoughts dictate how you should feel, in other words, don’t let people steal your happiness. Don’t download their problems.

What To Do Now.

Change by doing subtle things, walking, playing music, singing, feel lighter, stop gossiping, swearing, moaning, and judging others.
Do what your heart feels it wants to do, you don’t have to pack in your job, but to add balance in your life, earning money can be as enjoyable as spending it… Notice and write down, if your life is in balance. Look at the tyres on a car, for the car to run smoothly on the road all the tyres are all inflated to the right pressure. We have all had one flat tyre and the car drives uneven even though the other 3 are at the right pressure, In other words, negative thinking will unbalance your whole day and life if you’re not careful.

How Fearful Are You?

People have constant fears that run in the background of their minds. Fears have to be there in order to help and not to be seen as a negative. Fears can protect or make us take avoidance actions. Fear creates longevity by stopping us doing dangerous things. This protocol seems to get either switched off or at least turned down when under the influence of alcohol. This is why people will do stupid, crazy and foolish things that result in getting themselves killed in the process. A Phobia is a more heightened state of Fear.

Running Your Fears.

People are fearful of many things, as one can be fearful of heights another is not, as this applies to everyone at some stage in their life. Some controlled fears are good, such as a rollercoaster ride as it is fun but scary at the same time which leads to excitement and exhilaration. But fears can also run deeper, as you can fear not having enough money or job security, will your kids grow up ok and get the right qualifications for that job they want, fear of being late or missing something. fear of not being good enough or doing something right. This list of fears can be multifold and this type of fearful thinking is not good.

Head And Heart.

People who have fears are those who live in their heads too much, we all know someone like this, such as an over worrying mother for example. They look mithered, if not a little unstable in this type of fearful thinking and you can act the same because you have been brought up in that sort of environment. People who have very few fears, tend to be those who live in their hearts and care little about what their minds think. They have greater control over their thoughts. Their hearts are in a state of comfort and so there is little to fear. Because fear is an illusion that the mind tricks you. Do you remember being scared of something maybe as a child and now you’re not scared. So where did the fear go? …It was a trick of thinking,

Child vs Adult.

Naivety as a child can be great because you know that you will live forever and are unbreakable. This leads to doing crazy and daring acts or stunts which make you feel alive as the powerful adrenaline rushes through your body which is the best feeling ever! But later in life as you grow up, wisdom now kicks in as you know that you will not live forever and you are breakable and not indestructible. That tree you climbed as a child is now the one that shows you danger because you could break your leg, which means you aren’t going to earn money and this is not good, but why? This is because of wisdom, the child tends to lack wisdom compared to the adult, but wisdom can steal your confidence and this can create fears. It’s a neverending cycle of related emotions that torment you.

Nexus Hypnotherapy Explains The Level Of Consciousness.

The Level Of Consciousness

The level of consciousness is calibrated at 1 to 1000, although it can go higher logarithmically. Although for human beings it is set from 1 to 1000.

What Does This Mean For You…

Depending on where you are in your mental state of consciousness, it is calibrated to a specific number on this chart. Consequently, you become the experiencer of this particular vibration and this number is set on the chart. For instance, anger is set a 150, so if you are in an angry state of mind, this means you are a 150 on the chart of consciousness. So you will have the experience of anger. So there are many numbers that represent how you will feel.

Are You Below 200?

When we have negative problems such as Anger, Fear, Guilt, Shame which are set at 150 or below they affect your mental state of consciousness. These are below 200 where all the problems are.

What others are below 200.

“Social Anxiety Case Study In Walsall”.

The Dread Of Meeting People.

A young man came to see me suffering from social anxiety. But what is social anxiety? Social anxiety is when you start to have more than just anxiety because it becomes very specific such as going out or meeting people i.e. groups of people.

The Dog Attack.

He was 23 years old and most of his life had been anxiety free apart from when he was 5. He was attacked by two small dogs. After I gave him the therapy he realised that he hadn’t been attacked at all, but he was told that this had happened and so he had grown up fearing dogs. By the end of helping him with his dog phobia, he was feeding my greyhound and he had changed for the better.

Worse When Meeting Groups Of People.

The social anxiety came more intense as he went out to nightclubs etc. He was well mannered, thoughtful and liked to work. However, this feeling began to overtake his social life making him become quiet, nervous, and even the thought of going to meet his friends in a club would make him sick.

His Tailored Treatment.

His treatment being personalised for his specific needs. I treat all my clients as individuals because they have come to develop their issues which in most cases is unique to them.

After talking through his personal history, I found out about his dog phobia. I then re-framed his social anxiety and what he was going through, also how his mind and brain was working. This is important because it helps my clients de-clutter their mental garbage and so frees up their mind to except and experience a deep hypnotic trance.

Computer Processor Of His Mind.

The processor of the mind is important as this will be a vital way of him getting better at a more rapid rate and of his being free of this problem.

Hypnosis Creating The Change.

He received three deep sessions of relaxing hypnotherapy where I planted the seeds of change into his subconscious mind. As these suggestions grew, he realised that this was no longer the BIG problem that he had previously thought it to be. Consequently, he was feeling better about himself as well as being more relaxed when he met other people, He had the outcome that he desired which was to feel normal once more.

7 Practical Tips To Avoid Depression.

  • # 1 Have a go at exercise as this helps create the release of endorphins into your blood stream and helps change your mood. This doesn’t mean spending hours at a gym, but any form of positive exercise. This can include walking, swimming, badminton, bowls to the harder activities of running or pumping iron or boxing…
  • # 2 One of the most effective ways to recover from depression is to do gardening. Everything is energy and so when you are gardening you interact with nature, such as messing in the soil or grass cutting, planting or pruning. This helps discharge the negative emotion you have been holding onto.
  • # 3 Body posture is key to changing your physical structure and this will help you to create a positive feeling within you. Rather than walking around with your head down – have ago at counting chimney pots or notice the shapes of clouds or when possible try star gazing. The very act of holding your head up will make you feel positive and it is hard to feel depressed when you are looking up.
  • # 4 Try not to let your environment dictate how you should feel with depression, This could be either with work or a poor relationship. Start to look for the good in your world and once a week have an appreciation day by telling someone 3 things that you like or admire about them. This is one to do and help reinforce the positive statements to you and others .
  • # 5 Don’t get caught up in negative news media or TV soaps as they fill you with dread and despair. Start to watch light hearted fun stuff if you have to watch TV. Read positive motivational books or via YouTube and start to download positivity into your world. This will help to reprogramme your thinking.
  • # 6 Start to write a positive journal of your experiences of staying positive and how you quickly over came the negative days and the strategies that worked best for you. Personal journals can work really well as you can map your progress of being more positive each day.
  • # 7 This is important, check that you are not drinking too much alcohol as alcohol is a poison. Realise that to begin with alcohol is a stimulate when only taking a small amount you can feel good. But the more you take then it has the opposite affect and alcohol acts as a depressant and so this becomes a cycle of negative fulfilling prophecy. So drink in moderation but never to excess.anxiety-hypnosis-3-mobile

Try Everyday.

These few simple tasks can easily be done everyday. Hopefully after 3 weeks you will start to notice how positive you feel.

Chronic Stress Ruins Your Life & Your Brain As The People Of Walsall Will Experience.

Chronic stress is a more intense form of your everyday stress. We all know that stress is no good for us and yet we put up with it on a daily basis as we tend to feel that we have become immune to its relentless pressure. When we’re younger we feel we can cope better but as we get older we have to work harder to battle against its constant wear and tear on our bodies. An older body and mind takes longer and longer to repair.

Is Good Stress, Good For You?

We all get stressed throughout the day on a daily basis, whether at work or at home. Some stress can make us perform better as it can awaken our mind to be active and focus on the task at hand. But we tend not to relax after the stress which means we’re always on heightened alert. This means the constant increase in cortisol levels also the adrenalin is at a constant drip feed. This can damage your body and if you do have chronic stress this can over time weaken the brain with fewer neurons growing. So long term stress is not the ideal situation that you want to be in for too long.

Creating the reverse effects of your stress is to let go of it after you have found yourself in a stressful situation. The more you practice this the easier it will become. You can use exercise to help you and this will help your body release the stress that you continue to hold onto.
